Which fruit name ends with LE

There is no complete division of fruit into different subgroups. As a rule, however, fruit types are divided into the following groups:

Pome fruit: These include mainly apples and pears. There are not many other types of pome fruit. Some rare fruits such as quinces still belong to the pome fruit. Sometimes pome fruit is also referred to as apple fruit.

Stone fruit: These fruits typically have a large stone in the middle of the fruit. Everyone knows plums, cherries, apricots and nectarines - all typical stone fruit varieties.

Soft fruit: These fruits do not have any larger pips or stones. There are a lot of varieties. Examples are strawberries, blackberries, currants, raspberries, blueberries ...

Tropical fruits: All fruits such as bananas, pineapples, citrus fruits (oranges, lemons ...) that grow only in warm climates. Some grow in the Mediterranean, others only in tropical zones (like the pineapple). A division of the fruit types into tropical and Mediterranean fruits is possible.

Local fruit: The opposite of the tropical fruits. This means all types of fruit that grow in Central Europe and are traditionally grown here.

Nuts: This means nuts in particular. Not bananas or anything like that! Chestnuts, madelas, peanuts and hazelnuts are all types of shell fruit.

Wild fruit: Fruits that actually come from wild bushes or trees, such as raspberries or blackberries in the forest. Unfortunately very seldom in our shops.
