In 2017, income from the write-up of long-term assets mainly included the partial reversal of the carrying amount of spectrum licenses at T-Mobile US recognized during the year in the amount of € 1.7 billion. The income from the disposal of non-current assets results primarily from the disposal of properties that were previously classified as non-current assets and disposal groups held for sale. In 2018, insurance compensation income mainly comprised compensation payments received by T-Mobile US for damage caused by hurricanes in 2017. The remaining other operating income includes income from the deconsolidation of the shares included using the equity method due to the transfer of 11.34% of the shares in Ströer SE & Co. KGaA as plan assets to Deutsche Telekom Trust eV on August 14, 2019 in the amount of € 0.1 billion. In addition, the other operating income contains a large number of individual items that are small in terms of amount. In 2017, this mainly consisted of income from the deconsolidation of Strato AG in the amount of € 0.5 billion, income from a payment received as a result of a settlement agreement with BT in July 2017 in the amount of € 0.2 billion and income from the sale of after shares included using the equity method due to the sale of the remaining shares in Scout24 AG in the amount of € 0.2 billion.
