Why are you drawing comics right now?

Because I read a lot of comics as a child and they still magically attract me to this day. When I read comics, I feel like doing some myself. It's a real desire, I can't really explain it.

What do you enjoy most about it?

When a drawing suddenly appears on a white surface on the paper that I couldn't exactly imagine beforehand. So when "nothing" suddenly becomes "something". And I like the scratchy feel of the pencil on the paper.

What was / is your favorite cartoon character?

Asterix and Obelix, Lucky Luke, Corto Maltese!

What did you most like to become as a child?

I found many jobs exciting: cook, carpenter, police officer and English teacher!

What do you like besides drawing?

When I am not drawing, I am looking for relaxation. I do this best when reading, watching films, cycling, people-watching and bathing!

Why are you texting comics right now?

Because I like the interplay of words and images.

To create a world together with the draftsman. It is always an exciting moment for me when my picture descriptions take shape for the first time.

What was / is your favorite cartoon character?

When I was young, I liked Troubadix, the misunderstood bard from Asterix and Obelix, Lucky Luke and Batman with his five Robins. Today I tend to have favorite comic book authors and illustrators.

Journalist, anything to do with writing at least.

Daydream and play.
