preparation

  1. For this Mexican guacamole, first halve the peppers lengthways, remove the core and dice finely.
  2. Also peel the onion and garlic and cut into very small pieces. Juice the lime.
  3. Finely dice the tomatoes (it is best to put them in the boiling water beforehand, blanch, peel and core them).
  4. Then halve the avocados, remove the stone and remove the pulp from the skin with a spoon - cut and divide the avocados correctly
  5. Then finely puree the avocado meat and lime juice (or lemon juice) in a blender.
  6. Season the avocado puree with salt, pepper and Tabasco. Add the chili peppers, pieces of onion, garlic and tomato cubes to the puree and let everything steep for 15 minutes.

Tips on the recipe

The guacamole, translated as avocado sauce, comes from Mexican cuisine and is ideal as a dip for hearty dishes but also with chips, quesadillas or tortillas.

To make the fine dip even creamier, you can stir in a little natural yoghurt.

It is important that only very ripe avocados are used for the recipe so that the sauce is creamy.

Originally, a guacamole is never pureed with a hand blender, but mostly crushed with a fork.
